About IETB
The organization
What is IETB?
The International Exchange Trade Board (IETB) is an organization dedicated to helping nations design, build, and operate national stock exchanges and the market infrastructure behind them — exchange, clearing, settlement, custody, protocol, and oversight — governed under local law and connected to global capital.
Does IETB take ownership of a nation's market?
No. The model is built around a defined path to the nation owning and controlling its own market infrastructure. The objective is a market a country runs, not one it rents.
Is this related to cryptocurrency or blockchain?
No. IETB is focused on regulated capital markets infrastructure — exchanges, clearing, settlement, and custody for conventional securities and instruments.
For Governments
Working with nations
How does a partnership begin?
Engagements follow a phased model — Assess, Design, Build, and Launch & Sustain — each gated on the one before it. It begins with a feasibility assessment of the national economy, legal framework, and market readiness. See How We Build an Exchange.
How is national sovereignty protected?
Sovereignty safeguards are designed into every engagement: national ownership, data sovereignty under local law, capability transfer to national institutions, local-law-first design, and regulatory independence for oversight.
How long does it take to build a national exchange?
Timelines depend on the nation's starting point, legal framework, and scope. Each phase produces a decision point at which the nation chooses whether and how to proceed, protecting sequencing and budget.
For Institutions
Access & participation
Who can participate?
The framework is designed for governments, ministries, regulators, exchanges, banks, custodians, broker-dealers, issuers, institutional investors, and service providers — through approved, role-based access.
How do we request access?

Are the login portals live?
